This small holiday cabin provides a luxurious retreat for two people. Though compact, it contains a surprising spatial diversity. Internally, a series of interlinked living spaces are defined by a solid, sculpted core which occupies the centre. Crafted from concrete, the core contains the cabin’s bathroom and access to a roof terrace, along with storage, seating and a fireplace. Perimeter staircases, lit from above, follow the slope of the hillside from the entrance hall to the bedroom, kitchen and living room - each with a spectacular view of the adjacent loch.
The cabin, enclosed in a protective timber casing, is surrounded by terraces that allow outdoor living and access to the water’s edge.
