Sixteen, Inverness - Competition, Winner

The Highland Housing Fair, to be held in Inverness in 2009, is an opportunity to present innovative new housing typologies, demonstrating how new technologies can produce new ways of living. 16 will take advantage of the unique spatial character offered by the use and manipulation of prefabricated solid timber panel construction to create a large single-span volume for all living spaces. In developing a carbon-neutral solution, 16 will also displace the perception of sustainable housing.
